CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man and his mother have been arrested in Kentucky after they fled Tennessee after alleged involvement in a homicide in Clarksville.

Joseph Morris, 24, was wanted for his role in a shooting that left one dead in the early morning hours of Sunday.

Dispatchers received a call that several shots had been fired in the area od Sanders Road and Earl Slate Road and that a man was seen running down the street.

When officers arrived they found the body of 35-year-old Matthew Nelson. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
