NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — An argument between two parents led to a stabbing in North Nashville. Police say a 5-year-old handed officers the bloody knife found in a baby's crib.
According to the arrest report, police went to a home on 24th Avenue North and found a man bleeding from a stab wound in his shoulder. Officers learned his partner, identified as 24-year-old Davianna Hyde, stabbed him before driving away from the home.
There were four children inside the home when police arrived, the oldest was 5 years old.
Police said the 5-year-old picked up a bloody nine-inch knife from a baby's crib and handed it to the officer.
Hyde was later arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
