Police investigating deadly motorcycle crash on I-24

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police say they’re working to identify a 61-year-old man who was killed in a motorcycle crash on I-24 in Nashville.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday in eastbound lanes. Investigators say the Medical Examiner will work with his family to make positive identification.

Metro police say the preliminary investigation shows that he was riding his 1997 Harley Davidson in a heavy rain storm when he lost control.

According to police, he may have also been struck by other drivers who did not remain at the scene.
