A man was critically injured overnight in a crash in Hermitage.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said two friends were riding their motorcycles together on Andrew Jackson Parkway when one of them went ahead of the other.
At some point, the witness noticed the friend wasn't riding behind him so he turned around and found he had crashed.
According to Metro Police, CPR was performed on the scene.
There were no signs of alcohol. Officers were working to determine if speed was a factor.
The motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries and was being treated at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
