NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A motorcyclist was injured Tuesday in a crash on Briley Parkway, just west of Nashville.
Officials with Metro Police said the crash happened on the exit ramp from Briley Parkway onto Interstate 40.
It was not immediately known what caused the person to crash. The motorcyclist was the only one involved in the wreck.
The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Police said the person was not responsive.
His or her identity was not known.
The ramp will be closed until traffic crews conduct their investigation.
No additional details were known.
