A man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Maury County.
Authorities said the wreck happened on Leipers Creek Road just before 2 p.m. Saturday.
Reports from the Tennessee Highway Patrol said 75-year-old Harlin Casteel, Jr. was driving a Yamaha 110 motorcycle west when he failed to negotiate a curve.
The motorcycle crossed into the eastbound lanes before leaving the roadway.
Authorities confirmed Casteel was killed in the crash.
According to THP officials, he was wearing a helmet, but it was reportedly not Department of Transportation approved. Further details were not available.
