A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Murfreesboro on Middle Tennessee Boulevard.
The wreck happened at the intersection of Lascassas Highway around 8:25 p.m. Thursday.
Authorities said a 2012 Ford Mustang headed east was trying to turn left when it collided with a motorcycle headed west.
The motorcyclist, identified as 61-year-old Terry E. Elder was treated at the scene and rushed to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. He was later flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he passed away.
No charges were filed yet in the crash. The investigation continued.
