MT. JULIET, Tenn. – A mid-state family has been working to honor their son, who died suddenly last year, by holding a yard sale with some big dreams attached.

Last September, Austin Wilkerson of Mt. Juliet collapsed after getting a headache.

He was rushed to the hospital where it was discovered he had a problem with blood vessels in his brain called AVM. He died on his 17th birthday.

Now his family has been putting together a yard sale scheduled for October 3. They said all the proceeds will go to a foundation to build a youth center in Mt. Juliet in Austin's honor.

“I’m so thankful for the support that we can come together and have this foundation for Austin,” said Brianna Walden, Austin’s mother.

Austin was an organ donor and his family said five people got his organs after he passed away.
