Mt. Juliet mom finds needle in Halloween candy

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WTVF) - Officials in Wilson County have asked the public to check their Halloween candy after a needle was found in one item. 

The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office said a report was filed Wednesday night in Mt. Juliet after a needle was found in a piece of LifeSavers Gummies candy.

The discovery was made after a mother noticed the wrapper had been tampered with. Officials asked everyone to make sure all candy is properly sealed.
