JACKSON, Tenn. (WTVF) — No foul play is suspected after a 25-year-old student was found dead in her on-campus apartment at Union University in Jackson.
Union University confirmed Huyen Thi Thanh Hunyh, of Mt. Juliet, was a senior nursing major.
“Losing a student is one of the saddest events that a close-knit campus community like Union can experience,” Union President Samuel W. “Dub” Oliver said in a note to the campus community. “It hurts deeply because we care about each other, and Huyen was a part of us with hopes and dreams for the future like we all have."
The circumstances surrounding her death were not known.
