Mt. Juliet has joined many other Middle Tennessee cities planning to celebrate the upcoming Solar Eclipse with a party!
City officials have joined forces with the Mt. Juliet Chamber for a party on Monday, August 21. The event will be at Charlie Daniels Park from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Family friendly activities were planned and food trucks will be on hand.
Party admittance is free, but Eclipse Survival Kits have gone on sale, and will be sold at the event as well.
The kits include a t-shirt, koozie, frisbee and a pair of viewing glasses all in a collector sports bag with the Mt. Juliet Eclipse Logo. A kit costs $22 with all proceeds going to Friends of Mt Juliet Parks & Greenways.
