A trail in Mt. Juliet has been closed due to a suspicious device found long the walking path.
According to Mt. Juliet Police, the suspicious device is possible a replica grenade hanging from a lamp post.
Officials said the Tennessee Highway Patrol bomb squad responded to the scene "out of an abundance of caution."
It was rendered safe and destroyed by the THP. No evacuations were necessary.
