MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — As universities and schools across the country move to online instruction in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, Middle Tennessee State University will be loaning computers and hotspots to students who may need them.
MTSU's Information Technology Division will be loaning more than 3,000 Chromebooks to students who need help connecting remotely to classes.
This week, the university held almost 2,000 sessions on Zoom to hold remote classes.
The Information Technology Division distributed 2,100 internet hotspots, 200 webcams and 50 headsets to help students during this time.
