Middle Tennessee State University named its new Veterans and Military Family Center after country music star, Charlie Daniels.
The announcement came Tuesday that the center will be named after Daniels and his wife Hazel.
The MTSU President surprised them with the announcement last night, where Daniels gave $70,000 to the center from his charity, "The Journey Home Project."
The charity has given a total of more than $100,000 to the center.
