Multiple cases of Mumps have been identified on the campus of Vanderbilt University.
University officials said in a campus-wide alert none of those affected remained contagious or in isolation. However, the possibility of more cases in the coming weeks did still exist.
Officials said they were working closely with public health officials from the Metropolitan Nashville Health Department, the Tennessee Department of Health, the Occupational Health Clinic and Student Health Clinic to assist with the investigation and response to these cases.
