Hundreds of people were treated for heat exposure at the Van’s Warped Tour at the Nashville Fairgrounds.

The event got underway Tuesday morning and lasts until 9 p.m.

Joseph Pleasant with the Nashville Fire Department said more than 200 people were treated for heat related illnesses and 30 people were transported to the hospital.

A total of 28 people were transported to the hospital during the Let Freedom Sing on July 4, in downtown Nashville.

Last year, some 15,000 attended the festival.
