MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — An employee at a Kroger in Murfreesboro who tested positive for COVID-19 has died.
A representative for Kroger grocery stores in Middle Tennessee said the grocery has made mental health and grief counselors available to support associates.
The employee worked at Kroger store on Northfield Boulevard.
"We are mourning along with the family during this extraordinarily difficult time," Melissa Eads with Kroger said.
Kroger said the employee had not worked in more than a month.
No other information was released.
