NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A Murfreesboro teacher will be showing up to school with a new set of wheels after winning a pickup truck from the Tennessee Education Lottery.
Jennifer Williams, who teaches English at Holloway High School, and her family picked up the new Ford F-150 XLT SuperCrew truck on Wednesday.
“Everyone kept telling us it was a hoax,” said Jennifer Williams, who teaches English at Holloway High School. “So it’s just now becoming real.”
Lottery officials said Williams won the prize by entering eligible lottery tickets in the “VIP Players Suite.”
“I’m tickled to death,” said Jennifer’s mother, Susie Woodward. “This couldn’t have happened to a better person. Both of their vehicles were on their last legs.”
