NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The party has already started for the CMA Music Festival in Nashville.

The event doesn't officially kick off until Thursday, but already the stars are out on Broadway.

Thousands of fans came downtown Tuesday night for the 5th Annual Music City Gives Back concert. This year's event was hosted by Rodney Atkins.

The concert benefits the W.O. Smith Music School, which provides affordable music instruction for children from low-income families.

“We've been everywhere up and down Broadway. We've been standing there watching Florida-Georgia Line. We've been down here watching Tyler and Farr and Maddie and Tate. It's been awesome. This has been awesome,” Country Music fan, Ian Ridgewood.

As of 10 p.m. Kip Moore was finishing up his set. Lee Brice was scheduled to take the stage at 11 p.m.
