NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Jeff Walker the CEO and President of The AristoMedia Group/Marco Music Group died unexpectedly Monday night. He was 65 years old.
Walker was a native of Australia but had worked in Nashville for decades.
Walker served for 35 years on the Country Radio Broadcasters Board and was currently the Treasurer of the organization. He was also a longtime member of the Country Music Association Board of Directors.
Mayor Karl Dean released a statement about Walker's death saying:
Jeff Walker played an important role in spreading country music overseas and bringing country music talent from other countries to perform in Nashville. His zeal for growing country music’s appeal around the globe made him an integral part of our Sister Cities program.
Funeral arrangement have not been announced.
