Nail tech accused of sexual assault during home appointment

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — A Murfreesboro nail technician was accused of sexually assaulting a customer during a COVID-19 home appointment.

Murfreesboro Police officers arrested 39-year-old Nam Dinh Friday, Sept. 11 and charged him with sexual battery.

Dinh was at the home of a 37-year-old woman for the home pedicure appointment she'd booked with Nails So Happy on Lascassas Pike, which Dinh worked for.

Dinh allegedly tried to kiss the woman and touched her inappropriately, according to a police press release.

Officials said the woman had scheduled previous in-home appointments with Dinh during the COVID-19 shutdown with no issue.

Dinh was released from jail after posting a $3,500 bond. and is set to appear in Rutherford County General Session Court on Sept. 28.
