NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Nashville has been named as one of the top summer travel destinations by WalletHub.
The personal-finance website just released its report on the top 20 summertime travel destinations based on several factors, including where to get the most bang for your buck.
Orlando was voted number one, followed by Austin, Washington, DC, Chicago and Dallas. Nashville came in at number 9 -- narrowly edging out the Big Apple, which rounded out the top 10.
Davidson County, Murfreesboro and Franklin were all included in the Metro Nashville area.
The cities were ranked based on “travel costs and hassles,” “local costs,” “attractions,” “weather,” “activities,” and “safety.”
