More and more Americans are earning extra income on the side, signing-up to be Uber and Lyft drivers or renting out their homes on Airbnb. Now, a Nashville-based company, GreenPal, is helping lawn care professionals grow their businesses.

"The way they organize my route, the way they keep us active with the customers," said Brian Nowalk of Top Notch Lawn Care.

Nowalk has been in the landscaping business for 10-years and says he never expected to go digital.

"[GreenPal] saves me so much time, as far as acquiring other customers and just help me keeping organized without me having to spend hours out of my day doing so," he said.

Nowalk is just one of more than 2,000 small business owners and vendors now using the company to connect with customers.

"We've grown about 300-percent every year. We're in 6 states now and 13 markets," said Gene Caballero, co-founder of GreenPal.

Caballero says creating a Online service for lawn care just made sense.

"We provide the vendors with Google aerial views, Google street view," he said, We thought 'Hey if people are going to pay strangers to live in their houses then certainly they would summon lawn care via the internet."

GreenPal founders said their plan is to be nation-wide in the next two years. Click here for more information.
