NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Black Abbey Brewing Company is holding a special Galentine's Day event on Thursday to kick off the weekend of love.

Starting at 3:30 p.m., the brewery is holding a fundraiser to help every gal in the Mid-State maintain feminine hygiene. If you head over to the bar on Sidco Drive with a box of feminine products in hand, you can get a $4 fill of the brewery's new River Running Hibiscus Gose-style beer, or any of their beers offer year-round.

"We are really, really invested in our community," said Bekah Shade with Black Abbey Brewing Company. "Feminine hygiene products donated to shelters and stuff is something that doesn't get as much focus as food drives and other things like that."

The Galentine's Day event will last until 8 p.m. Black Abbey Brewing Company said the event is not just for women - men are more than welcome to come out and join.
