NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A beloved kids book is coming to life in the Midstate.
The Nashville Children's Theatre held a virtual performance of "Pete the Cat's Rockin' Red Carpet."
The spring show was canceled due to COVID-19. Instead, performers filmed the production.
"At this point in the season we would have had over 33,000 students in the building this year alone by this point. So this streamed production that's available to grades, classes, entire schools is a way that we're trying to continue to serve the over 65,000 children we do every year," said the theatre's Executive Artistic Director, Ernie Nolan.
If you missed Sunday night's performance, you can still stream it on the theatre's website until June.
