The court date for one of the two men arrested in a South Nashville double murder has been continued.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said 23-year-old Oscar Delgado-Flores has been facing two counts of criminal homicide from a shooting at the Maple Crest Apartments back in September.
He was expected in court Wednesday; however, his court date was continued to the following Wednesday, October 18.
Police said Delgado-Flores admitted to being the getaway driver of the vehicle that brought he and 20-year-old Luis Miguel Colindres-Varela to the apartments.
According to investigators, surveillance video showed a vehicle pull up and block in the victim's car. Two gunmen got out and fired multiple times.
The victims were identified as Yeri Gabino and Hector Pagada. They were shot multiple times and died at the scene.
Colindres-Varela was arrested Monday night in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
