NASHVILLE, Tenn. – While the construction boom continues in downtown Nashville, the newest hotel has planned to bank on business from some specific customers.
The $18 million ONE Nashville Hotel was designed to be 12 stories tall, and feature 117 small, but specially designed rooms.
“Each space is 183 square feet,” said Mark Cleveland, the property owner. “There will be a world-class bed and enough room to have some privacy and prep and head to downtown Nashville.”
Cleveland said the setup was perfect for the growing number of bachelor and bachelorette parties in Nashville, as well as convention-goers. In addition, the rooms would be affordable compared to many others in downtown.
“We can put 10 people on a floor, and you can rent the whole floor,” said Cleveland.
The hotel location was set for the intersection of Ash and Lafayette Streets and 4th Avenue.
The hotel has also partnered with ride-sharing companies like Uber and Lyft to coordinate transportation for customers.
Groundbreaking for the hotel was set for the middle of next year, and the goal was to have completed by December of 2016.
