Nashville Humane Association Creates Holiday 'Wish List' For Dogs & Cats

We can't all bring home puppies for Christmas. But the Nashville Humane Association has other ways you can help cheer-up shelter pets this holiday season.

"We're standing in front of our 'Holiday Wish List Tree,'" said Kenneth Tallier with the Humane Association. "If you can't adopt during the holiday season there's so many ways you can support Nashville Humane Association."

Tallier said keeping shelter pets happy and healthy is a year-round need.

"Paper towels, newspapers, dog food, cat food, litter," he said.

If you are ready to adopt, this is the time to do it.

"December is one of our busiest months of the year. A lot of people want to adopt pets. So we're having a fun adoption campaign. All adult dogs and all adult cats, five-months old or older will have an adoption fee of $25," he said.

Tallier said it's small price to pay for so much love.
