A Metro Nashville Police officer resigned after he was arrested for allegedly stealing from a DUI suspect.
MNPD officials said Officer Joshua Vaughn allegedly stole a bottle of whiskey from the suspect's crashed car.
He resigned Tuesday. The misdemeanor theft charge against Vaughn was still pending in General Sessions Court.
