NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville Police Department officials confirmed four people were shot off Hickory Trace Drive at the Stonebrook Apartments.
Shaquavius Moore, 24, was charged with criminal homicide for shooting Saniya Lofton, 19. He was additionally charged with attempted criminal homicide for wounding three of her family members. He was arrested in Cheatham County. An argument led to the shooting, MNPD spokesperson Don Aaron said.
Lofton was declared dead at the scene, Nashville Fire Department officials said. The other three were transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
The shooting occurred around 3:09 p.m.
Police said the shooting was domestically-related.
