Nashville police officer dies after battle with cancer

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville Police Department announced the death of one of its own after the officer faced a battle with cancer.

Hermitage precinct officer Crockett Bruce died Monday. He was 29.

Bruce had a 6-month-old girl and a wife.

He was also a third-generation dairy farmer before joining the police force in 2019.
