NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A local shelter has asked for the public's help to hydrate the homeless.
Those with the Nashville Rescue Mission have started their “Hot Patrol,” which brings cold bottled water to the city's homeless population on hot summer days.
The mission has typically helped about 900 people a day.
For anyone wanting to donate, water can be taken to their downtown location on 7th Avenue South Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Money can also be donated on their website by clicking here.
