Nashville sees its wettest February in 139 years

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — This is officially the wettest February that Nashville has ever had. In fact, it has been more than 135 years since the last time Music City saw this much rain at this time of the year.

As of 9a.m. on Saturday, 12.42" of rain has fallen this month.

The previous record was held by February 1880. That year it rained 12.37" in the second month.

Nashville residents are urged to take precautions over the next couple of days, especially while driving.
