Nashvillians Celebrate Hanukkah At Menorah Lighting

Nashville Mayor Megan Barry and Jewish leaders lit the city's Menorah to celebrate the first day of Hanukkah.

The lighting marked the first day of the Festival of Lights. Nashville Mayor Megan Barry joined local rabbi's to light the first candle of the city's menorah Tuesday night outside the Metro Courthouse.

The Mayor said events like the lighting help bring light to the world. 

It was the city's 14th year lighting the menorah with the city mayor.
