The Nathan Bedford Forrest statue on the side of Interstate 65 in Nashville has been vandalized.
At this time, it’s unclear when the statue - which sits on private land - was hit with pink paint.
The statue was installed nearly 20-years-ago and has been vandalized numerous times over the years.
This comes just days after the City of Memphis removed two Confederate monuments honoring Forrest and Jefferson Davis.
