WARREN, Mich. — Police in Warren, Michigan say 19-year-old Sara Rowles, her 21-year-old boyfriend, Jackson Krosweck, and his friend Finzie Jones, used social media to chat with and lure in victims June 27-29.

Police say Rowles would invite unassuming men to hang out and smoke, or sell her marijuana.

According to police, Rowles told the men them to jump inside her car, priming them for a hold up.

At least five men have reported falling victim, forced to hand over their wallets and cellphones.

The trio was charged on five counts of armed robbery, punishable to up to life in prison.

Bond has been set for all three suspects at a range of between $100,000 and $250,000. Their next appearance in court is set for July 19.

Warren police say it's a reminder to be smart about who you meet and where. If you’re going to meet somebody who you’ve never met before for whatever reason, meet them in a public place.
