At least one person will become an instant millionaire after a record-breaking Powerball jackpot Wednesday night. The California Lottery is reporting a winning ticket was sold in Chino Hills, Calif.
Other lotteries will report their winners overnight Wednesday.
Wednesday's drawing was the first time someone hit all six numbers on the Powerball since the beginning of November. Because there was a winner in the drawing, that means Saturday's jackpot will drop to $40 million, instead of what lottery officials said would have been at least $2 billion.
