Bruce Springsteen 2016 tour dates announced

The Boss may be coming to an arena near you.

People across the country are already asking for days off work to see Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band live after The River Tour 2016 was announced Friday morning.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 11, 2015. Springsteen will perform:

Jan. 16, 2016: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Consol Energy Center)
Jan. 19: Chicago, Illinois (United Center)
Jan. 24 and 27: New York, New York (Madison Square Garden)
Jan. 29: Washington, DC (Verizon Center)
Jan. 31: Newark, New Jersey (Prudential Center)
Feb. 2: Toronto, Ontario (Air Canada Centre)
Feb. 4: Boston, Massachusetts (TD Garden)
Feb. 8: Albany, New York (Times Union Center)
Feb. 10: Hartford, Connecticut (XL Center)
Feb. 12: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (Wells Fargo Center)
Feb. 16: Sunrise, Florida (BB&T Center)
Feb. 18: Atlanta, Georgia (Philips Arena)
