Who said a penny is not worth anything? JCPenney is offering select items for one cent next week, starting Feb. 28.
JCPenney is trying to revive its brand after its stock price dropped to its lowest price last month in more than three decades. After JCPenney's announcement, it stock price jumped by 20 percent.
According to the company, it will be offering one cent Arizona brand clothing and accessories with the puchase of a regularly priced item. As part of Penney Days, JCPenney will also be offering some in-store items for one cent with no additional purchase required.
JCPenney said it is beginning a campaign to emphasize its name brands, including Nike and Levi's.
