Let's be Frank: Ball Park giving away thousands of hot dogs

Posted at 6:37 PM, Jun 22, 2016

Ball Park brand hot dogs announced that from now through Saturday at noon Eastern, anyone named Frank or Angus on Twitter is eligible to receive a free package of the company's hot dogs.

Don't worry, your real name does not have to be Frank or Angus.

The company is giving away up to 10,000 packages of hot dogs to anyone with the name Frank or Angus who tweets  #BallParkAngusGiveaway and follows Ball Park brand on Twitter. The contest ends when either the company has received 10,000 entries, or Saturday at noon - whichever happens first.

Actors Mario Lopez and Haylie Duff are among the celebrities that have changed their Twitter name for the contest.

Ball Park will send winners a direct message on Twitter to confirm delivery information.

"Whether people change their name to Angus or Frank, we hope they won't forget our name when they fire up the grill this summer," said Sara Shenoha, Senior Brand Manager, Ball Park brand.
