CINCINNATI -- One person was killed and 15 others were injured in a mass shooting at a Cincinnati nightclub early Sunday.

It's the largest mass shooting in the United States so far this year, according to data our sister station in Cincinnati has reviewed from the Gun Violence Archive.

Cincinnati Police Chief Eliot Isaac says investigators believe several people opened fire.

The map below shows where mass shootings have happened in Greater Cincinnati and the United States so far this year, as well as in prior years (data from gunviolencearchive.org)
