PokeDates: New dating service for Pokemon Go players

Looking for that special someone to spend the rest of your days catching Pikachus with?

There’s a dating service for that now.

A website called PokéDates launched Wednesday, and it’s all about hooking up those “more adept at catching Squirtles than they are significant others,” as Time put it. In other words, it's made for players of the popular new phone app Pokemon Go.

After answering a few questions and noting times they might be available for dates, users are matched with a fellow Pokemon Go player they might like. The service then emails both parties with a convenient time and meeting location.

The first PokeDate is free, but after that, users are charged $20 if both parties agree to the date, Time reported.

It might sound like a long shot for finding a significant other -- but at the very least, if there's no spark, you may just find someone new to battle.
