The bottle nearly killed him — actually it was a truck full of them.
A Georgia man was arrested after stealing a beer truck and then running over his own leg as he attempted to flee police on Monday.
Gregory Miller, 55, severely injured his ankle in the incident, according to Columbus, Georgia's WTVM-TV.
According to WTVM, Miller stole a Coors Light delivery truck while its driver was making a delivery to a Circle K convenience store at about 5:45 a.m. Investigators believed the truck was left running during the delivery.
Miller then led Columbus Police officers on a short chase before jumping out of the truck and attempting to run. That's when investigators said Miller ran over himself with the truck, which he jumped out of as it was rolling.
The chase ended at a restaurant parking lot about 4 miles from where the truck was stolen.
Miller was arrested and taken to a nearby hospital, according to WTVM.
