Was your last Whopper burger a little too burger-ish?

Fear not -- fast-food giant Burger King has unveiled a new product that may have Tex-Mex fanatics doing a double-take: The Whopperito.
This twist on a classic burrito includes ingredients like beef, tomatoes, onions, lettuce and pickles inside a flour tortilla, according to the Chicago Tribune. The typical mayonnaise from the hamburger will be replaced by a creamy queso sauce.

The Whopperito will be sold nationally beginning Aug. 15.

According to People Magazine, which cites a statement from Burger King, the new item gained traction after a local franchise first tested out the dish. That test soon “sparked widespread demand from guests” on social media, the statement said.

The new item, which is expected to sell from three to four months, will cost $2.99 individually and $4.99 as part of a combo meal.
