Actor Shailene Woodley was arrested Monday during a political protest in North Dakota.

The 24-year-old star of movies including the "Divergent" series and "The Fault in Our Stars" was cuffed for criminal trespassing. She was protesting the proposed construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline, an oil pipeline that would run across land used by the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.

Woodley has been protesting the pipeline for months and has been one of the most high-profile opponents of its construction. Other actors including Susan Sarandon and Leonardo DiCaprio have also voiced opposition to the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Woodley broadcast her entire Monday protest on Facebook Live. Her video of the protest runs about 2 hours long and ends with her being arrested.

She was released from the Morton County Jail in North Dakota on Monday evening, according to E! News.
