According to a post on her Instagram page, R&B singer Tamar Braxton has reluctantly resigned from "Dancing With the Stars" due to health reasons.
Braxton had been hospitalized during rehearsals this week for what she thought was pneumonia, but returned in time for Monday's show to avoid elimination. On Wednesday night, she returned to the hospital to find out that she was in fact suffering from a serious of pulmonary embolisms, or a series of blood clots in her lungs.
Braxton also said her upcoming tour dates would also be canceled.
Braxton is the second contestant to drop out of this season's "Dancing With the Stars" due to health reasons. In September, reality star Kim Zolciack was forced to resign after she suffered a mini-stroke.
