VIRAL VIDEO: Angry mother confronts Target about transgender bathroom policy

Posted

A mother of 12 upset with Target’s transgender bathroom policy is featured in a viral video parading her family through a store with a Bible in hand.

The video posted on Saturday shows the unidentified woman walking through a Target and sharing her view on the company’s policy.

“Attention Target customers: Do not be deceived. Target would have you believe with their Mother’s Day displays that they love mothers and children. This is a deception,” the woman is heard saying. “This is not love, and they’ve proven it by opening their bathrooms to perverted men.”

The woman goes on to explain that she is a mother of 12 and that she would not be shopping at the store in the future. She also encourages other shoppers to avoid spending money at Target.

A few Target customers are heard in the background standing up to the woman and disputing her claims.

The video, posted by user Loredana Camelia does not give any indication as to who the woman is or location of the Target.

Last month, Target wrote in a company blog that they encouraged all customers and employees to use the restroom that corresponds to their gender identity and opposed LGBT discrimination. Since Target’s announcement, more than one million people have signed a petition to boycott the store.
