The Murfreesboro Police Department have stepped up patrols in the Palm Court Neighborhood after a report of a Peeping Tom in the area.
Parents in the area said they've seen a man repeatedly peering into the windows of nearby homes, around the time children are being dropped off from school.
Others said they've seen the man relieving himself near those homes.
We spoke with the man the police report named as the suspect who lives in the neighborhood -- and he says all the allegations against him are false. He says he's a victim of neighborhood rumors running wild.
"Absolutely, I've never even had a speeding ticket, let alone anything like that," said Scott Mosley. "I live by the book, I would never do anything like that to anybody here."
Police haven't made any arrests in this case but they have been stepping up patrols in the area.
The suspect says he's glad to speak to police to clear up any misunderstanding.
