Belmont University honored the Tennessee “Bun Lady” by renaming its cafeteria after her.
Cordia Harrington is commonly known as the "bun lady." She is the founder and CEO of the Tennessee Bun Company.
The 950-seat cafeteria was named "Harrington Place Dining" in honor of the bun lady's support for the school.
Harrington and her family have created two scholarships at Belmont - a school she truly loves.
"To get to be a part of Belmont and the beautiful new dining facility was the biggest honor. I could have imagined," Harrington said. "We believe that God gave us this business to create opportunities for people and that's what Belmont does. And it grows them in every aspect of their life."
The new dining hall offers many options for students including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free items.
