One of the city's deadliest intersections just got a major improvement, one which could save lives.
Officials with the Tennessee Department of Transportation installed a crosswalk this week at the intersection of Welshwood Drive and Nolensville Pike.
The group Walk-Bike Nashville said the crossing is the most dangerous for pedestrians in Nashville. They added seven people have been killed there since 2010.
Along with that crosswalk, officials added raised pedestrian medians and new signage.
